Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships
Degree and Higher Degree Apprenticeships offer employers an innovative and cost-effective way to develop new and established team members and in many cases, full or partial funding is available. The University offers a number of industry-developed apprenticeship standards including leadership, digital solutions, product design, engineering and health & social care.
Buckinghamshire New University has an enviable record of successful delivery of apprenticeships in partnership with private, public and social purpose sector organisations. The key to success has been two-fold; the partnership arrangement between the apprentice, the Employer Partner and the University where all parties are focussed on apprentice achievement and; the tried and tested systems and processes which are administratively facilitated through BNU’s friendly and professional Apprenticeship Hub.
I am so proud of the Apprenticeship Hub’s achievement in delivering over 1300 apprentices in partnership with local employers. Apprenticeships mean that anybody can earn whilst they learn and gain a degree without incurring the costs of traditional study routes, something that really promotes a more inclusive workforce.Priti Kharbanda Head of Apprenticeships
