We offer a range of guaranteed accommodation* to our undergraduate students, each at an affordable price. From a spacious double with an ensuite, to a single room with wash facilities, each option offers Wi-Fi, all bills included and 24/7 on-site security and pastoral and welfare support. 

*We can guarantee a place in one of our High Wycombe halls to all new students joining BNU in September 2024, if you make your accommodation application before 31 August 2024.

There’s more to university than just your time in the classroom and there’s a reason why our Students’ Union has been ranked the No.1 Students' Union in the UK (National Student Survey 2023). 

BNU is the only university in the UK to offer free access to a huge range of activities and opportunities to enrich your time with us. We call this The Big Deal. Run by the Students’ Union, the Big Deal gives you free access not only to our Students’ Union’s events and entertainment, but a huge range of skill workshops and CV building activities.

From recreational activities like cookery lessons and theatre trips, to competitive sports such as football, rugby, basketball, cheerleading and hockey, we have over 30 teams you could join and a calendar full of activities to get involved in. 

Fancy meeting others with the same interests as you? There is a range of societies for you to sign up to, from our mooting, anime and alt.music societies to our Islamic, roller skating and even Jaffa Cake appreciation society, there’s something for everyone. And if there isn’t anything that currently satisfies your co-curricular cravings, you can always pave the way and set one up!

Learn how to fly without wings in our flight simulator; push your limits at the Human Performance Laboratory; get empowered as you create in our wood, metal and ceramic workshops; grab a booth for your group project in our auditorium; or refuel with a freshly cooked meal from our open-kitchen Beeches Café.
