Senior Lecturer


Barbara has worked at Bucks New University for eight years as a senior lecturer. She has a keen interest in undergraduate teaching, where she focuses mainly on research methods and aspects of cognitive psychology. She is currently teaching year-long Research Methods modules to students on all undergraduate psychology programmes, as well as modules relating to cognitive psychology and cognitive neuropsychology.

Her research interests are mainly focused around aspects of cognition (for example, prospective memory) and on the student experience, where there is an emphasis on pedagogical concerns relating to the teaching and learning of Research Methods in Higher Education. She also collaborates on other research areas, including sexual dimorphism and faciometrics.
