Dr. Christopher Sambrook

Before joining Bucks New University Dr Christopher Sambrook worked for twenty six years within the UK criminal justice system culminating as a department head with Thames Valley Police Force Intelligence and Specialist Operations. Formerly a tactical advisor to HMIC on matters pertaining to Firearms and Explosives Licensing he previously lectured at Sulhamstead Police Training Centre. His academic interests include: Rural policing and emerging rural crimes, Environmental Crime, Food crime and Firearms and explosives licensing.

Dr Sambrook is currently conducting research into the impact of fly-tipping on individuals and rural communities in the UK and into the impact on communities of the proliferation of counterfeit pesticides in rural India.
