Nasifa Ahmadi

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University as an academic in 2023, I studied LLB Law here and graduated with a First-Class Hons. I was also the Valedictorian for the Business and Law School at my graduation.

My specialist area of interest/research is women and girl’s education traditions. I chose this subject as women and girls in my home country, Afghanistan, had their education rights taken away in 2021.

My specialist knowledge has led me to represent my research at the UN, providing an Afghan woman’s perspective on education and the peace process.

My greatest honour to date is being the valedictorian for my school at BNU. As well as going to the UN to discuss my research.
