Parents and Carers

Going to university marks the start of a more independent chapter for your child – for many students it will be the first time they’ve lived away from home. As their parent or carer, it’s natural to want to make sure their chosen university will help them reach their full potential and be a place where they can thrive.

This section includes information and advice to help alleviate any concerns or questions you might have, from choosing the right university and applying to Bucks, to supporting your child’s wellbeing once they’re here. Although this is aimed at parents, it is equally relevant to guardians, carers and other adults that may be involved.

We want to make the transition from home to university as easy and stress-free as possible, for both students and parents. So if you can't find the answers you need, please get in touch.
