UK Engagement Survey 2019
What is the UK Engagement Survey (UKES)?
It is a UK-wide survey open to non-final year undergraduate students studying at Bucks New University which is run by the Higher Education Academy (HEA). The online questionnaire seeks your honest feedback on how you engage with the different kinds of learning activities at Bucks and your course experience so far including:
- Critical thinking
- Working with other students
- Interacting with staff
- Course challenges
- Connecting and reflecting on the things you’ve learned
- Staff-student partnerships
- Skills development.
You can find out more about UKES by visiting the Advance HE website.
When can I share my views?
The 2019 survey opens on Monday 18 March and will close on Friday 7 June.
To thank you for taking the time to share your views, the University will make a donation to the Students’ Union’s RAG charities (Wycombe Homeless Connection and Hillingdon Samaritans).
Why should I complete the survey?
This is an opportunity to tell us about how you engage with learning on your course, work with others and the kinds of activities that help you to learn best.
It is a chance for you to reflect on:
- How you study
- What might help your studies in the future
- What you like about Bucks New University
- Where things could be improved.
We will use your feedback to improve your experience at Bucks and those that will follow in your footsteps.
How do I have my say?
You will receive an email with a link to the survey when it opens. You can also access the survey by clicking here.
