Novos (Print) ISSN 2633-285X Novos (Online) ISSN 2633-2868
Novos provides a forum to disseminate research, impact, knowledge exchange, commentary, scholarly work and is an edited journal published by Buckinghamshire New University. We invite contributions from external and internal authors, with the aim of giving a voice to early-career researchers and scholars. It welcomes thought-provoking scholarly contributions that offer some of the following characteristics:
- A focus on application of knowledge, and relevance of research to practice, policy and/or work; and the wider sector
- Explicit engagement with the local community and with national and international contexts and debates
- Discipline-specific and interdisciplinary research and scholarship
Novos is positioned at the interface between theory and practice. It discusses practical issues with reference to evidence, both empirical and scholarly; and links empirical findings and theoretical insights to the practice. Submissions need to align with one of the following categories:
- Teaching and Learning
- Discipline research
- Knowledge Exchange
- Practice and work
The first issue is due to be published in December 2019. Further submission information is found in Instructions to authors or find further details on the Bucks Intranet (for staff) or contact us directly ResearchUnit@bucks.ac.uk.
Research Notes is a University publication that is published twice a year celebrating our successes and communicates our research activity.
