Early Career Research Network
The Bucks Early Career Research Network Group (ECR Network) provides a supportive environment for researchers to meet, share information, seek help and foster collaborations. Above all the group aims to help researchers be fulfilled and confident in their role, pursue their goals and feel part of an eloquent research community.
We welcome pre and post-doctoral researchers, those involved in practice-based research and more experienced lecturers engaged in research for the first time. Members share information and debate research issues at our ‘Rehearsal Room’ seminars and on the Network's Facebook group.
Find out more about the Rehearsal Room seminars, including summaries of seminars between May 2015 and December 2017.
Dr Helena Chance, the network group leader, offers one-to-one support and arranges workshops and training events. These include support for writing a conference abstract, publishing in a peer review journal, networking, goal-setting and skills development. Researchers in the faculty can also join the peer support group, ‘The Rehearsal Room’, to share work and obtain feedback in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
