Yes, we are open at our High Wycombe and Uxbridge campuses but there are some changes to how you can use the library. Please visit our pages here to find out more.

The Gym reopened in August. It has implemented a robust COVID-19 secure regime with enhanced social distancing at 2m (due to the activity undertaken and following industry guidelines). It is offering reduced membership rates for students. Find out more on the Gateway Gym website.

Bucks Students’ Union will offer a broad and diverse range of events and activities through The Big Deal, all completely free of charge. And all within the recommended COVID-secure guidelines. Our bars will be open and we’ll have new procedures in place to ensure we keep our customers and staff safe. This includes contactless ordering and payments and a seated service. You will also have to log contact details (just as you have to do in public restaurants and venues) to support contract tracing. All cafes (The Lounge, Beats, Pulse, Rusty’s and The Basin Café) will fully reopen at the start of term and you can view the opening times here.

Yes, the shuttle bus service will be resuming and will operate the normal term-time schedule from Monday 21 September 2020. You can view the term-time timetable here. Your ID will be scanned when you use the service and a face-covering is mandatory, unless you are exempt. Please maintain social distancing when you travel on the campus link to ensure the safety our University community.

The IT Service Desk on Level 2, Gateway Building, is open at the following times:

  • Up until 18 September - 8am-5pm Mon-Fri;
  • From 21 September - 8am-7pm Mon-Fri (Saturday support timings TBC).

The Service Desk will be for students only to ensure you get the best student experience, in the safest way possible.
