Amy said: I love my job and it’s progressing well. My responsibilities included maintaining a strong relationship with our clients and the pro-audio industry press, to leverage the best possible coverage for each client.

“I manage our client's social media channels, manage and book adverts, organise press calls and events, including for beyerdynamic at the MOBO Awards Talent Retreat on behalf of Polar UK audio and audio visual equipment distributor.

"I also work with social media influencers for our clients' campaigns to create content and exposure, before then reporting back to them.

“It’s fast-paced and exciting and just the role I wanted to start my career. It’s fair to say no two days are ever the same.”

Speaking about the benefits of studying at Bucks New University, Amy said: "I cannot express enough how much I loved the course, gaining a huge amount of knowledge and skills.

“Due to the verity of modules the course offers I was able to learn about the event industry as a whole, which in turn led to a better level of employability and a tangible skill set.

“The modules also opened my eyes to number of different areas in the event management industry, including security, crowd control, and health and safety.”

She added: “The course offered me opportunities to learn from different tutors who had all worked or were working within the industry, which was something I valued.

“All tutors were very supportive and helpful. Industry work experience opportunities, were offered throughout my three years of study. This meant I was able to build my CV and be involved in University research all whilst studying for my degree.

“Now that I'm working in the industry I did my degree in, I can happily say that I learned skills and knowledge on the course which I apply to everyday work life.

"The course has allowed me to learn from some of the best in the industry, about every part of the industry, and overall I had a blast!"
