Welcome to day four of your Bucks Advent calendar! If days 1-3 haven’t taken you fancy what about one of the many festive events organised by Bucks Students' Union and the University.

Here’s a rundown of what’s going on in or around our campuses.

Tomorrow (5 December)

Hamper for the Homeless, 11am-4pm, The Lounge,Bucks SU:
Fancy getting in the christmas spirit whilst doing a good deed?
Go along to the Students' Union Lounge with your donations and help pack the homeless hampers ready to be donated to Wycombe Homeless Connection on 11 December.
Wrapping paper, tape and even some christmassy music will be provided.

Gingerbread decorating, noon-2pm, The Lounge, Bucks SU:
The SU has everything from gingerbread ladies and men, gingerbread houses and Christmas cookies for you to decorate.
This event is completely FREE and everything you design you can keep. A fantastic opportunity to create some festive gifts!
There is no need to sign up online for this event just go along.

Vibes Present Icicle, 8pm-midnight, The Lounge, Bucks SU:
Vibes is back with a special winter themed show, featuring Dale May, Jamie Kieran and A.M.P (acoustic duo from Bucks). This is set to be a great night of live music and will get everyone into the Christmas spirit with funky decor and warming feels.

Wednesday 6 December

Carols on the Concourse, 12.15-1pm, Concourse outside The Gateway:
You are invited to join the Multi-faith Chaplaincy team for carols, mince pies and mulled fruit juice! Go for as long as you like, even just a few minutes, to sing and spread some festive cheer. Gluten free option available.

Christmas Post Pals, 11am-3pm, Pulse Cafe, Uxbridge Campus:
Post Pals is a charity helping you to ‘Post a Smile on a Sick Child’s Face’ by the sending of cards, letters, emails and little gifts to seriously ill children and their siblings in the UK. Pop into Pulse to write a small letter to make someone’s day.
We will have all the materials needed, teas, coffees and Christmas music just bring friends!

Thursday 7 December

Mince pies or stollen, 1-3pm, Uxbridge Campus:
Take a break and enjoy a mince pie or some stollen at the Multi-faith Chaplaincy and Staff Association Christmas teas on the second floor at the Uxbridge Campus.

Christmas Crafternoon, noon-2pm, Beats, High Wycombe Campus:
Fancy getting a bit crafty for Christmas. The SU has three different crafts for your to choice from for FREE. So why not give it a try and make yourself something festive or design a Christmas gift?
There is no need to sign up online, just find the SU in Beats and join in!

Christmas Film Night, 7.30-11pm, The Lounge, Bucks SU:
As part of Bucks Students’ Union cinema-themed events, it is hosting a Christmas movie night!
Students are voting on the film - a choice between Elf, Home Alone 2, Love Actually, The Holiday or The Grinch
No need to sign up, just go and grab a seat!

Sunday 10 December

Christmas Craft Market, 11am-4pm, Missenden Abbey:
Missenden Abbey, our sister campus, is holding a Christmas Craft Market on Sunday (10 December) in aid of the Missenden Walled Garden CIO, which provides work experience to adults with learning disabilities or long term illness.

Legends of Country plus Felix Holt & The Radicals, 7.30pm-11pm, The Venue:
Ramblin' Roots Revue and Clubhouse Records presents a festive celebration with live Americana, Country and Roots music, artisan ales, fine whiskies and free mince pies! Two great live bands, playing full sets.

Friday 15 December

Bamboo // Rudolph's Rave, 10pm-3am, The Venue:
Rudolph is coming to Bucks' Student Union for one night only to party reindeer style! The SU has got loads of giveaways for you to give you in that festive feeling!
Doors open at 10pm, last entry Midnight. FREE for Bucks students.
