Winterland, a free festive family fun day, takes place at Bucks New University from 11am-5pm on Saturday 3 December featuring an exciting range of live music, an all-weather skating rink, ferris wheel, fairground rides, and indoor inflatable play zone.

The Bucks Live team studying BA (Hons) Music and Live Events Management are behind the seasonal attraction, called Bucks Live Presents: Winterland, at the University's campus in Queen Alexandra Road, High Wycombe.

The day includes two live music stages with performances from the Holmer Green Senior School choir and rock band, live music from Gwen and the Good Thing and Adobe, both artists having recently featured on BBC Radio 1's BBC Music Introducing, Jack Little who runs rock school sessions in Bicester, and the band Paper Oceans. Other attractions include Wycombe Steel Orchestra performing a range of music, including Christmas songs.

Course Leader Alan McBlane said: "Winterland continues where our successful Buck Live spring events left off, with an exciting array of seasonal fun for all the family fun. For the first time we will have an all-weather skating rink and a ferris wheel, along with our proven favourites of fairground rides, hot food and drinks and the ever-popular indoor inflatable play zone."

A 30-minute session on the skating rink can be booked in advance and costs £5. Advance booking is recommended, as spaces will be limited on the day.Tickets can be booked through SEE Tickets.

Children's wristbands for unlimited rides on the ferris wheel and fairground rides and admission to the Inflatable Zone are £5 and available on the day from the box office at the site.
