The Executive Director of Employer Engagement & Business Development at Bucks New University's partner Aylesbury College will speak about government apprenticeship reforms at a breakfast event at University Campus Aylesbury Vale on Friday 25 November.
The event, the first in a series of breakfast briefings, takes place from 8am-10am at the campus in Walton Road, Aylesbury, and Tim Keighley will speak about the ramifications for businesses of the changes coming into force from April.
He will outline how Aylesbury College and partners, Buckinghamshire New University and Amersham & Wycombe College, supported by Buckinghamshire Business First (BBF), will support employers with the reforms.
Ian Harper, Chief Executive of University Campus Aylesbury Vale, said: “With major changes to the ways apprenticeships are delivered and funded this is a great opportunity to understand how the new system can benefit Bucks’ businesses.”
University Campus Aylesbury Vale is a partnership between Bucks New University and Aylesbury College and the breakfast event includes refreshments and networking opportunities.
A further breakfast briefing on cyber security in a modern technological world takes place from 8am-10am on Friday 27 January, focusing on how ensure the safe and secure use of computers and mobile devices.
