The accreditation is given in recognition of continued excellence in customer service and is based entirely on genuine, real-time customer feedback. The commendation is awarded by BDRC Continental, an independent research consultancy.

Missenden Abbey is a dedicated conference, events and wedding venue, set in ten acres of countryside. The venue, a 12th century abbey, has more than 20 meeting rooms, 57 en-suite bedrooms, and a recently-launched function room known as The Carrington Suite.
BDRC Continental featured around 375 meeting venues and hotels in its VenueVerdict Accreditation programme, and the results were derived from approximately 20,000 pieces of individual feedback.
James Bland, director of the Hotels and Hospitality team at BDRC Continental, said: "Being determined by customer feedback alone, a VenueVerdict Commendation exhibits the hard work put in to ensure a high level of guest experience in terms of both service and product, for which Missenden Abbey is to be congratulated on achieving."
