SBID Accredited University
SIBD represents the interior design industry on a global stage and promotes the highest standards in education, development and sustainability in design and construction, headed by its founder and CEO, Vanessa Brady OBE.

Course Leader Sarah Bax is part of the SBID Healthcare Council, which contributes to changing the design industry for the better and actively promoting health and wellbeing within the design sector.

She said: "I am delighted SBID has made the Master’s course its first MA to be recognised for high standards and industry-related content. I look forward to building on our relationship to further enhance the MA Interior Design for Health and Wellbeing course.”

SBID assessed how fit-for-purpose the course curriculum was in transferring core knowledge and skills to the commercial world, and scrutinised its content to ensure it met all-inclusive standards.

Sarah Bax said part of the course’s unique appeal was in involving industry professionals to contribute to students' learning and research, with various practitioners joining the online virtual learning site to 'enrich the student experience'.

She added: "We are also delighted to have involvement from the SBID Healthcare Council, which consists of experts across the healthcare design sector.

"The Council builds on current healthcare research programmes such as dementia, wellness, infection control, and equality compliance."

As part of the accreditation, students enrolled on the course are entitled to free SBID student membership.
