Course Overview

If you graduate with a BEng (Hons) degree you will normally be eligible for Stage 1 registration as an Incorporated Engineer and, as such, will be starting a professional career.

Registration as an Incorporated Engineer is a condition that many design manufacturing organisations require before a person may be considered for a position of professional responsibility.

What will this course cover?
It will help you gain an understanding of the complete engineering processes required to take a product from design concept through to manufacture with an emphasis on the application of computer aided engineering tools.

This course leads to the MRes Engineering, which is one year plus the Major Project, further study on completion of this course.

One afternoon and one evening a week.

What are the course entry requirements?

An HNC/HND qualification or equivalent.

A reference from either your employer or previous lecturers.

How much does it cost

Fees for September 2017 to August 2018 entry

Part Time Home and EU: £4750 per year
