Course Overview
Our Return to Practice course has been developed to enable nurses from the United Kingdom (UK) whose NMC registration has lapsed to re-register with the NMC, or, in the case of nurses from the European Union (EU)/European Economic Area (EEA), who have been instructed by the NMC to complete a Return to Practice course, to become eligible for registration with the NMC and seek employment in the UK.
This course will include a 12 to 15 week placement at two shifts a week, in addition to university attendance of one full day a week for 12 weeks and homework.
What will this course cover?
During the course, you will develop a range of skills covering analysis, critical thinking, problem solving and reflective practice, which are necessary when providing evidence-based, holistic care for patients with mental health issues and their families.
