Digital and Technology Solutions Professional

Our three-year, Digital Technology Solutions Professional Apprenticeship programme develops the higher-level skills and behaviours required to create confident and capable digital and technology professionals.

The programme is designed for current or aspiring practitioners in the IT related areas covered by the apprenticeships standard for Digital and Technology Solutions Professional. Within this context, it is designed for professionals who provide technology enabled solutions to internal and/or external customers in a range of areas including software, business and systems analysis, cyber security, data analysis and network infrastructure.

The apprenticeship is taught at either High Wycombe Campus or Uxbridge Campus and successful apprentices will gain a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions.

Current fees for the programme are £25,000 starting February/March 2020.

Our Digital Technology Solutions Professional Apprenticeship programmes include the following core modules which focus on the development of personal and professional skills within the workplace context:

Software engineering is a rapidly changing field and every business that generates its own computer programs or needs to personalise third-party software engineers to write, edit and test programs.

Software Engineer Apprentices will be exposed to various programming languages such as C#, C++, and Java. These are then used to solve real-world problems.

The Bucks New University Software Engineer pathway apprenticeship includes modules critical to helping apprentices specialise in a few areas of development such as networks, operating systems, databases and applications. Modules include:

A Business Analyst is responsible for creating detailed analysis of systems and making recommendations for improvement by assessing the business impact of change, capturing, analysing and documenting requirements.

The Bucks New University Business Analyst pathway apprenticeship will equip apprentices to put forward arguments and solve problems using appropriate methods and techniques.

Business Analyst Apprentices will also benefit from being exposed to programming languages such as C# as well as data manipulation languages such as SQL. They will also have the opportunity to become AWS certified through Bucks New University’s market leading Cloud Computing module.
