About: Entering its 32nd edition, the New Designers exhibition brings together design education, design consumers and the design industry to celebrate and recognise the next generation of graduate designers.
This year’s Bucks graduates are showing an innovative and creative range of collections across the three pathways of Knit, Print and Surface on the BA (Hons) Textiles and Surface Design course. Additionally, two students from BA Product Design are contributing with their work. The graduates are showing collections aimed at fashion, interior, sportswear and automotive. These unique designers have explored personal design-led projects using research, drawing, colour, design and have access and developed skills across workshops in textile, knit, print, metal, wood, plastic and paper.
New Designers gives you the unmissable opportunity to buy new products for your store or home, get inspired by fresh ideas and discover new design talent to commission or recruit.
Each edition brings 3,000 of the most promising graduate talents from the UK’s leading design courses exhibit. The show features everything from illustration to animation, furniture to fashion, and gaming to glass and takes place at the Business Design Centre in London, the home of bringing business and design together. It provokes fresh thinking and kick-starts careers, providing a pipeline of young talent into one of the UK’s leading sectors.
Venue: Located 10 minutes from Kings Cross St. Pancras International and a short walk from Angel tube station, the Business Design Centre is one of London’s most popular conference and exhibition venues. With over 300 events a year the BDC, based in the vicinity of the City and Central London, offers a stylish, flexible and convenient solution for everything from banquets to conferences and exhibitions.
