What to Expect at an Open Day
What will I learn at a Bucks Undergraduate Open Day?
As well as a chance to chat to current students and tutors, there’ll be guided tours of our departments, facilities and accommodation. We’ll give you information on the application process and how to fund your studies. And if there’s anything else you’d like to know about, please just ask. We’ll be on hand to answer any queries and to help you get the most out of your visit.
An Open Day Programme will be available one week before each event. Please note that this Programme can vary for each event, so it’s best to check back nearer to the time for the most up-to-date information. The Programme will include some information about our Schools and Departments, as well as a useful map of our campus. To help you plan your time, and for a schedule of the talks and presentations during the event, please visit our Plan your Visit page.
Sounds great! When is the next Open Day?
To ensure we get to talk to every potential student, and that we can answer your specific questions, we run several Open Days each year. For dates and to reserve your place at our next event, visit our Open Day Booking page.
How can I prepare?
- visit the Plan your Visit page for details of the talks, presentations and tours happening during our Open Days.
- make sure you know where to come. Take a look at how to get to the High Wycombe Campus.
- if you haven’t already, it’s worth having a read of our prospectus. You can view our prospectus online – or order a copy by post.
If you can’t attend one of our Open Days, we also run campus tours throughout the academic year. It’s a good way to experience everyday life here at Bucks.
For a comprehensive overview of life and study here, have a browse through our Student life section – you’ll find lots of information on what’s going on locally and on campus.
We look forward to meeting you, and discussing your future with us.
