What to Expect at an Open Day

If you’re considering applying for a place at Bucks, why not come along to one of our Open Days?

You’ll get to meet current students, chat with tutors, and have a good look round our facilities. And it’s a chance to ask any questions and get a proper feel for what it’s like to live and study at Bucks.

If you’re interested in courses at any of our partner colleges, you can visit their websites for more information, including details of their open days.

What will I learn at a Bucks Undergraduate Open Day?

As well as a chance to chat to current students and tutors, there’ll be guided tours of our departments, facilities and accommodation. We’ll give you information on the application process and how to fund your studies. And if there’s anything else you’d like to know about, please just ask. We’ll be on hand to answer any queries, and to help you get the most out of your day.

Sounds great! When is the next Open Day?

How can I prepare?

  • If you haven’t already, it’s worth having a read of our prospectus. You can view our prospectus online – or order a copy by post.
  • If you can’t attend one of our Open Days, we also run campus tours throughout the academic year. It’s a good way to experience everyday life here.
  • For a comprehensive overview of life and study here, have a browse through our Student life section – you’ll find lots of information on what’s going on locally and on campus.
  • Make sure you know where to come. Take a look at how to get to the High Wycombe Campus.

We look forward to meeting you, and discussing your future with us.
