Transferring to Bucks

Transferring is the process for a student to move from one degree programme to another. This can be within the same University, or between different providers. At Bucks we are happy to consider transfers.

In order to transfer to Bucks, you will need to make an application which will be assessed by the Admissions Team against the relevant programme’s entry criteria.

Different programmes (especially those with Professional Accreditations such as Nursing) have different criteria for transferring, please contact our Admissions team for more information on the best next steps for you.

In many cases you can join part way through a programme, usually at the beginning of a level or year of study. This will follow our Accreditation of Prior Learning Policy and Procedure where we will review and map what you have already studied against our programme and will likely be a condition of any offer of a place. You can find more information about our credit transfer procedures on this page.
