Mr Mahmood Anjoyeb
MA (Ed). BSc, RGN, RMN, CMS
I am a registered Adult and Mental Health Nurse and has had a long career working as a mental health nurse in the NHS prior to join Buckinghamshire New university in 2010. I have significant knowledge in Acute and Elderly care (in-patients) and has held senior positions both at clinical and managerial level.
I have been working as a senior lecturer (mental health) at Buckinghamshire New University since 2010 following a long career in the NHS. I am involved in the delivery of mental health programmes at Apprenticeship, B.Sc., Post registration and Post graduate levels. I am the link lecturer for West London Health Trust and on weekly visits I maintain contacts with students, clinicians, supervisors and practice assessors to facilitate the integration of theory and practice. I have an interest in the link between physical health and mental health and have supervised many students for their final dissertation on this subject.
I take an active interest in research and working jointly with colleagues from BNU and another University I have carried out 2 primary research which was published in 2016 and 2018 in an International Journal. One of my strengths is to work closely with students to enhance their academic development and experiences in Higher Education. This led to two of the students to have their final year dissertation published in 2019 and 2020
