Mrs Tracey Hayes

RN (Child) DipHE, SCPHN (HV) BSc

I qualified as a children’s nurse in 1999 and went on to work in wards and departments before becoming a Clinical Sister in Accident and Emergency. Working here led to me becoming interested in public health and I decided to undertake my Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) training in Health Visiting where I worked for several years and had the opportunity to undertake posts in teaching and line management. I have now worked at Bucks New University since August 2019 and am currently studying for my Academic Professional Apprenticeship which includes an award of post graduate certificate of academic practice (PGCap) together with fellowship of the higher education academy.
