Jessica Raban-Williams

Biography

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2019, I was course leader for BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Styling at De Montfort University alongside a successful freelance career as a fashion stylist.

I studied for my MA in Fashion at Kingston University and my BA in Textile Design for Fashion at Manchester School of Art. My specialist area of interest is in sustainable fashion, an area I’m passionate about with fashion being the second most polluting industry in the world. My specialist knowledge has led me to work with clients such as Adidas, Sky Sports, Boohoo and Selfridges whilst working as a freelance stylist.

My greatest accolade to date is completing my MA in Fashion alongside my teaching commitments and launching my blog ‘Sustainable Fashion Journal’ at The Design Museum, London
