Miss Molly-Jane Dane
Graduate Teaching Associate
School of Aviation and Security
I am a graduate teaching associate in Aviation and Tourism. I graduated Bucks New University with a First-class degree in BA (Hons) International Travel and Tourism Management. During my time at Buckinghamshire New University, I represented the Aviation Society as Chairman and was awarded Society Committee Member of the year. I completed two first class research projects “The Pilot Shortage” and “Pioneer of the Flight Deck”.
Before joining Buckinghamshire New University, I worked as an Aviation Data Analyst and a Freelance Writer. Most recently, I have gone on to work closely with my local community to monitor and enhance community welfare and environmental concentration.
I am currently working towards a Master of Science (MSc) at King’s College London in Tourism, Environment and Development. My research is concentrated towards the aviation industry and climate change. My main research interests revolve around crisis management, the critical geographies of terrorism and orientalism and tourism.
I like to stay up to date with the latest tourism and aviation developments and attends industry events. I have recently spent my time networking with industry professionals at the House of Commons, Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), the RAF Club, Farnborough air show and much more.
