Biography

Margaret is a Principal lecturer, Associate Head of School in the School of Nursing and Allied Health.  She has extensive experience of working within Forensic Mental Health inpatient settings. Her expertise in recovery, service user and care involvement  led to the development of collaborative working within Forensic Mental Health settings and the subsequent employment of people with ‘lived experience’ into Consultant roles working within Mental Health services and the University classroom. Her motivation is to support the strengths development of students by providing an innovative and dynamic learning experience which promotes achievement of knowledge and skills required to deliver nursing in the 21st century. Margaret leads on Research and Enterprise for the School of Nursing and Allied Healthcare.
