Biography

Ina Stan was awarded her PhD in 2008. She then went on to work as a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant at Buckinghamshire New University, and as a part-time Lecturer teaching research methods, sport sociology, English for academic purposes and personal and professional development. Currently Ina supervises doctoral students and undertakes research on the experience of students in higher education at Buckinghamshire New University. In addition she has been working as a Senior Lecturer in the Learning Development Unit since 2014 at Bucks New Uni, providing one-to-one tutorials to students of different levels of academic ability on academic skills, developing and delivering workshops and lectures on academic skills, engaging in formative and summative assessment of students’ work.
