Biography

Christine joined Bucks in March 2016 as Learning & Development Business Partner. In her previous career, Christine has worked in a diverse range of organisations and independently as a Training Consultant. Christine graduated from Leeds University with a joint honours degree in Modern Languages. She started her career at Heathrow Airport where she worked for twelve years in terminal operations before moving into Human Resources. Here, she managed a number of bespoke projects in Contingency Planning, an EU funded Skills for Life programme and internal Talent Management as well as Leadership & Management Development and initiating and implementing the Corporate University. In her role of Critical Friend at Bracknell Forest Borough Council, Christine managed a range of accreditation processes in Extended Services and staff development in both primary and secondary schools. Christine has also worked in five Further Education Colleges, lecturing in Business, Travel & Tourism, Customer Service and Public Service, completing her Post Graduate Certificate in Education in 2010 and achieving Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills status in 2012. Christine also holds a CIPD Level 7 Certificate in Human Resource Development.
