Head of School


Paul is Head of School for Human and Social Sciences. Paul is responsible for academic leadership of the School. He is a BPS Chartered Psychologist, researcher, and works with sports teams and organisations at amateur, professional, and Olympic level focusing on the psychology of sporting excellence. He has presented his research at a number of international conferences (e.g. Association of Applied Sport Psychology, American Psychological Association, British Psychological Society, FEPSAC). He has also been an invited speaker for organisations such as the Netherlands National Olympic Committee and Bloso Expert Platform Sport Psychology (Belgium). Paul is currently External Examiner for Manchester Metropolitan University (Master in Sport Directorship) and a reviewer for several academic journals in sport psychology.
