Biography

Yvette is a highly motivated aviation professional with experience in operational aspects of airlines and airports. Yvette holds a BA (Hons) European Tourism - Lincoln University, MA Airline and Airport Management – University of West London, PG Cert Academic Practice – University of West London and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Following the completion of her Masters, Yvette was offered a role in academia at the University of West London. After two years there, Yvette secured a position at Buckinghamshire New University and is now a Senior Lecturer in Air Transport Management, Course Leader for Pilot Programmes and a nominated member of the Education Committee. As Course Leader Yvette is also the liaison between the University and the ATOs which we work with, this includes organising ATO Day, site visits and dealing with general enquiries from the ATOs and students. Yvette is active in student recruitment at Open Days and Applicant Visitor Days on campus and Pilot Careers Live exhibitions in London and Manchester.

Yvette takes to the skies frequently and attends industry events to stay up-to-date with the latest in aviation developments. It is not unusual to find Yvette taking a flight just to visit an airport or fly the latest aircraft.
