Biography

Mike is an Associate Professor in Computing, based within the School of Business, Law & Computing; who teaches a range of subjects including High Performance Systems, Life Critical Software Development and Formal Mathematics. He has been at this University for a number of years now, and has been delighted to see its hard won reputation as a provider of quality education, being Nationally and Internationally recognised.

His long length of service at BNU, after leaving the Royal Air Force as an Educational Officer at RAF Cranwell, instructing Graduate Engineers; is by no means uncommon, and clearly reflects the general loyalty and commitment many staff feels towards the University. And one of his greatest pleasures and certainly the most fulfilling aspect of the work, is seeing on Graduation Day the immense satisfaction expressed by both relatives and students alike; a number of which might not have been considered or given this opportunity, by less student focused Institutions.
