Visits to your school or college

We can provide presentations and workshops on all aspects of applying for university and student life in person or virtually. We offer a wide range of sessions aiming to support students on their university journey but we can always tailor a session to your needs so please get in touch to arrange a virtual or face to face event.

Why University?

Introducing the concept of going to university, explaining the student journey from option choices, application, student life and future pathways. This session is designed to help students understand the true value of higher education, introduce it as an option and give a fair representation of what university will look like for them.

Student Life

An interactive workshop to help students understand what life is like at university, delivered by current students.

Personality Profiling and ‘packtypes’

A hands-on session that helps students to look at their own strengths and learning styles via a fun card game. It helps build personal confidence and respect for differences in others, it also allows students to understand differing learning requirements and how these different requirements can be catered for.

Student Finance

An interactive session that allows students to better understand the financial side of university from student finance, loans and grants themselves through to better money management. We understand that many students are concerned about the cost of university, this session allows them to realise the true cost of university and that it is intended to be accessible to all.

Personal Statements: The Instagram Method

How to make sure you use your 4,000 characters to write an impactful and specific personal statement. Including details on what to include and how to find inspiration, that will get you noticed and make you stand out from the crowd during the UCAS process. We also offer a more traditional presentation in addition to this workshop.

Mentoring

Trained undergraduate students help guide students through a range of sessions to improve study skills, confidence, resilience and taking the next steps. We appreciate the value of students being to relate to those guiding them and believe our undergraduate students have great potential to have a positive influence on your students.

We offer a presentation to help students at key points in their life as they decide as the best next steps for them.

Careers, Enterprise and HE Fairs

We can visit for careers, enterprise and HE fairs to provide information and advice. Your pupils will be able to speak to our outreach team and student ambassadors about university courses and what it is like to study at university.

UCAS Applications

This session is interactive and can include our Kahoot quiz to get students involved and really thinking about their UCAS application.
