Buckinghamshire New University is keeping up-to-date with business trends through Leadership Network events at the Houses of Parliament, chaired by Louise Ellman MP, Chair of the Public Transport Select Committee.
The events are led by Bucks Business School and coincide with the launch of an International MBA qualification at Bucks New University to tackle global trade trends.
Richard Bingley, Director of Bucks Business School, said: "The Leadership Network brings panellists together from the top levels of political and business decision-making.
"It is designed to examine large-scale challenges and complexities in the real world and to in turn then influence our academic teaching, which is linked to industries to best prepare graduates for employment."
The latest Leadership Network focused on crisis leadership and featured a panel of Andrew Gilligan, Senior Correspondent at The Sunday Times; Richard Barnes, former Deputy Mayor of London; Jason Towse, Managing Director for Mitie Total Security Management; and Yahav Lichner, London Office Representative of the UN Population Fund.
Mr Bingley added: "The Bucks Business School Leadership Network is a free educational business network forum designed to assist entrepreneurs and executives to navigate future business trends.
"We are grateful to Louise Ellman MP for hosting us at the Houses of Parliament. As a regular speaker in Parliament on matters of international security and public transportation safety, Louise is able to provide the highest degree of insight and relevance to our Leadership Network briefing on crisis leadership."
The International MBA at Bucks New University is recruiting now and focuses on areas including Digital Leadership in a World of Continuous Disruption and Marketing Strategy in an 'Always On World'.
