Date: 7th Dec 2016
The public are invited to the annual show by Masters of Art students at Buckinghamshire New University from 9-15 December.
The annual showpiece features Fine Art, Furniture, and Textiles work and takes place from 10am-4pm daily in The Gallery and The Room at the University's campus in Queen Alexandra Road, High Wycombe.
Frazer Mackenzie, Head of School for Arts & Creative Industries, said: "The work includes a range of media, from rich embroideries, large charcoal drawings and prints, to light source installations and fabric chandeliers.
"All the work has a connection with humanity and relate to experiences such as the sensitivities of touch and the effects of power and control in the context of the horrors brought by war."
The students exhibiting have displayed work at galleries and art fairs, taught in workshops and set up their own studios, with others also already in further employment.
The public can visit The Room, which is situated off Queen Alexandra Road in the South Wing of the University, opposite Wycombe Hospital. It is open every day from 9-15 December apart from Sunday 12 December.
Mr Mackenzie added: "We would be delighted for the public to come in and see the fruits of the students' endeavours and enjoy the outstanding work on display."
