Faith groups in the local
area
Bucks New University welcomes students of all faiths and there are
a variety of religious organisations in the local area that can
provide spiritual support. Use the links below to find out

Buddhism
Meditation
classes, run by the Reading Shantideva Buddhist Centre, are
held at Bassetbury Manor in High Wycombe each Wednesday
evening.
Meditation classes, run by Meditate in London, are held at the
Quaker Meeting House in Uxbridge each Tuesday evening.
Christianity
There are a
number of different Christian communities in the High Wycombe
and Uxbridge area, reflecting different branches of the
faith.

registered charity that supports High Wycombe’s 11,000-strong
Muslim population. They run an Islamic Centre in Arnison
Avenue.
Judaism
The
High
Wycombe Affiliated Synagogue was originally formed after the
Second World War by people who’d previously been evacuated from
London.

House and Uxbridge Meeting
House.
