Open Forum

The Institute of Integrated Care provides Open Forums across the Buckinghamshire area where stakeholders can meet, discuss and debate topics of interest around Integrated Care. We encourage participation as a voice for care, social care and healthcare and we welcome individuals working across professions, communities, students’ and those who experience care.

The University will schedule the next series of Open Forum dates in the 2015 Autumn term.

The forum provides an environment in which discussion and debate on Integrated Care issues is facilitated by various stakeholders and guest speakers from Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas. Representation is wide and from groups across:

  • academia,
  • academic health science networks,
  • business innovation,
  • local clinical commissioning groups,
  • health and care professions,
  • patients' and other interest groups
  • private, public and voluntary sectors.

A pre-set agenda will be circulated to those with confirmed attendance prior to the meeting date giving an opportunity to suggest, comment or add on to discussion topics. The forum is completely impartial and has no policy agenda of its own. Whilst we are grateful for the support and advice on themes that we receive, all editorial decisions remain with the forum in order to maintain impartiality.

Dates can change and we advise booking a place to ensure that information remains up to date. Please call 01494 603029 or e-mail to book a place.
