'Professional practice into Teaching Practice' with Jane Bowler, Course Leader and David Hopwood, Senior Lecturer, BA (Hons) Fashion Design

This seminar will be of interest to university lecturers who work as practitioners in the creative industries and to all of those interested in how their research and practice can drive innovation in the curriculum and vice versa.

Jane, renowned fashion designer, will be talking about her innovative research and practice, how she translates her work into workshops for Fashion Design students at Bucks and at the Victoria and Albert Museum and how her teaching feeds back into her practice.

David will reflect on the challenges of working both as a tutor and mentor to fashion students, and as a designer for the fashion industry,
