Plan your visit to our Postgraduate and Professional Open Evening

Bucks Postgraduate and Professional Open Evenings are a great way to find out about our postgraduate and professional programmes.

To ensure you get the most from the event, here are a few tips to help you plan your visit:

Can I bring somone with me?

Plenty of people attend Open Days on their own, but bringing someone else along for support is a great idea. It can be helpful to have a second opinion.

Changing a booking

If you’ve booked but can no longer make it, please let us know by phone or email. We’ll be able to book you on to our next event if you’re still interested.

If you’ve booked a tour and can no longer make it, please cancel so we can re-allocate your spot.

Do I have to stay for the whole event?

The most important thing is that you attend your appointment with a member of the course team, you are welcome to leave afterwards if you need to. You can view our virtual tours of the campus online so you don’t miss out at

Do you have disabled access?

Yes, Bucks is a friendly and inclusive environment. If you require assistance, please contact us beforehand so we can enable your visit to run as smoothly as possible.

Food and drink

We will have tea and coffee available for all of our guests.

How do I get to Bucks?

Our Postgraduate and Professional Open Evenings are held at our High Wycombe Campus.

If you are travelling by train or bus, both stations are located near our campus and the Wycombe Park and Ride scheme has a bus stop directly outside our main building. Student Ambassadors will be nearby, waiting to direct you.

If you’re driving, there will be parking available on campus which you can access via the entrance opposite Wycombe Hospital. You may find our visiting us section helpful,

What should I do when I arrive?

Please make your way to our main reception in the Gateway Building (a large blue building). Our Student Ambassadors will then bring you over to our registration area to check in for the event.

What should I expect on the day?

At our Postgraduate and Professional Open Evenings, you will have been given an appointment time with a member of the academic course team. We recommend you arrive promptly for this to avoid missing your slot.

Our admissions team will be available to discuss applications and offer funding advice. We will also be running a campus tour so you can get a feel for the place.

What should I wear?

Just make sure you are comfortable! There’s no dress code here.
