active youth worker, Bob Hardie from Hazlemere, has received an

recognition of his business achievements, and for his charitable
work in the region.

fellowship from Buckinghamshire New University in recognition of
his significant contribution to the work of the Council of the
University.

Mike Clare, the founder of Dreams,
Britain’s leading bed specialist, has received an honorary degree
from Buckinghamshire New University in recognition of his
outstanding achievements in the field of commerce, for his
commitment to the education of Dreams employees, and for his
support for the University.
BBC Breakfast presenter receives
honorary degree
Bill Turnbull, a veteran journalist and the instantly recognisable
face of BBC Breakfast, has received an honorary degree from
Buckinghamshire New University in recognition of his distinguished
career in broadcast journalism and his commitment to charity and to
his local community.
Royal Household conservator

Senior Conservator for
The Royal Household, David Wheeler MVO, who has a long-standing
position at the Royal Collection, has received an honorary degree
from Buckinghamshire New University today. The award recognised his
substantial and significant contribution to the field of
conservation and his support of the University’s conservation and
restoration programmes.

Jon Ingall, pioneer of integrated
advertising and founder of Archibald Ingall Stretton, has
received an honorary degree from Buckinghamshire New University in
recognition of his outstanding contribution to the field of
communication and of his longstanding and continued support for the
University.

Music aficionado and entrepreneur, Michael Eavis CBE, who
founded the Glastonbury Festival, has received an honorary degree
from Buckinghamshire New University in recognition of his
significant achievements in the music industry, his business
reputation and his strong links with the University and its
students.
Scholar and researcher receives
Emeritus Professorship
Long-time university employee, Vincent Edwards, has received an
Emeritus Professorship from Buckinghamshire New University in
recognition of his scholarship and research in international
management studies and for his continuing contribution to this area
of research at the University.
