Uxbridge Campus is home to our nursing and healthcare practice courses.
As the last (or first) stop on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, Uxbridge offers the best of both worlds – the friendliness and safety of a small town with the buzz of London just a tube ride away.
Besides being close to the capital, Uxbridge has its own highlights, including two shopping centres, a vibrant arts and entertainment scene, and plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes.
Nestled next to the Colne Valley Park, you’re well placed for countryside escapes too, with miles of hiking trails, canals and rivers to explore.
Uxbridge is one of the top ten shopping destinations in London, and just a tube ride away from the rest of the capital.
Lots to see and do
When you’re not studying, Uxbridge offers plenty of ways to have fun and unwind. Two large shopping centres – Intu Uxbridge and The Pavillions – make Uxbridge one of the top ten shopping destinations in London. You'll also find a diverse choice of shops, bars, and restaurants in the town centre. For film buffs, there's a giant screen experience at Uxbridge's IMAX cinema.
As well as high street stores, Uxbridge has a thriving independent retail scene. Wander along historic Windsor Street and the Market House for an eclectic mix of shops and cafes. And every Wednesday, you can browse handmade goods at the weekly Craft Market in The Mall.
With excellent road and rail links, Uxbridge gives you easy access to our partner NHS trusts as well as the rest of London. The underground station, with Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, is just a five minute walk away from campus.
Countryside and culture
Dotted around the area you’ll find a wealth of hidden gems, including Colne Valley Park and the Grand Union Canal. If you're feeling energetic, you can walk or cycle down the towpath all the way to Camden Lock. Or for a more leisurely adventure, hire a canal boat for the day.
For theatre enthusiasts, the renowned Beck theatre in Hayes is just a short bus ride away. It hosts regular showings of dance, drama, standup and musicals.
