At Bucks New University, we have an impressive range of state-of-the-art facilities at both our High Wycombe and Uxbridge Campuses.

High Wycombe Campus Our flagship building on the High Wycombe Campus – ‘The Gateway’ – offers a rich mix of commercial-standard facilities, including film production suites and music studios, a gym and human performance lab, dance and drama studios as well as a high-tech learning resources centre. The well-equipped library is also located in this impressive facility and expert staff are on hand to help you discover all the information you need. Our craft workshops on the High Wycombe Campus feature industry-specific equipment, allowing opportunities to explore both new and traditional craft-based skills and technologies. We also have workshops with dedicated work space areas.

Uxbridge Campus

Our Uxbridge Campus in west London is the home of our prestigious nursing and health care practice courses and hosts a range of specialist equipment as well as high-tech simulation and learning facilities. This helps enable simulation of practices fundamental to health and safety to advanced complex skill practice. Clinical skills rooms provide both current and future NHS staff with an excellent opportunity to develop and practice a variety of skills at all levels in a safe and supportive environment. Pre-qualifying nurses spend time in the clinical skills rooms, allowing them to practice core skills and gain experience, exposure and feedback in order to boost their confidence for the clinical placement. The simulation mannequins of both adults and children helps provide realistic scenarios, ranging from the ‘home’ community setting to the ‘virtual reality’ of the intensive critical care unit, enabling a broad spectrum of technical skills to be practiced. Ideally located only five minutes from Uxbridge High Street, this campus holds comfortable, spacious teaching rooms alongside the latest in medical training equipment.

Cafeterias

On both campuses, we have a number of places to grab a quick drink, enjoy various snacks or a freshly cooked lunch. With comfortable seating and a friendly, open environment, our cafes are a perfect area for meeting, networking, or just catching up with friends and colleagues.

On the High Wycombe Campus, you can choose from our Beats canteen or the Students’ Union bar. In the award winning Gateway Building, we have a fairtrade cafeteria called Rusty Bucks. On the first floor of our Uxbridge Campus, the main cafeteria, Pulse, sells drinks as well as hot and cold food throughout the day.
