Courses for professionals working with children and young people

We offer specialised part-time courses that allow you to study whilst still in employment.

Our programmes are designed for every stage of your career and include:

FDA in Early Years Practice
A Foundation Degree is the first step towards gaining Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) and will be of interest to Early Years Practitioners qualified to level 3 who are working with children from birth to five years.

FDA Working with Children and Young People
This course will be of interest to practitioners working in a range of settings with children and young people or those with broad experience.

BA (Hons) Professional Practice (Early Years)
This one year top-up degree enables Early Years Practitioners to top-up their foundation degree, meet their continuing professional development (CPD) needs and develop their expertise.

BA (Hons) Professional Practice (Working with Children and Young People)
This top-up degree is flexibly designed to enable practitioners in community health, education, social care and policing to meet their continuing professional development (CPD) needs and develop their expertise in their practice setting.
