Brief overview:

The MA Printmaking programme offers a great opportunity for people from all kinds of backgrounds and experiences to develop and extend their skills and practice. The course aims to produce innovative professionals, whilst giving students the opportunity to follow and explore their own personal programme of study.

This course is based at londonprintstudio (lps), a leading professional studio that is internationally recognised for developing innovative fine art programmes in community and social contexts.

Housing a wide range of traditional and new print media, lps offers an ambitious gallery and education programme alongside professional support services to artists, photographers, designers, galleries and museums.

This unique MA Print course supports each student’s long term professional development.

Students are encouraged to experiment, test the boundaries of fine-art practice, work in traditional and digital media, and develop ambitious projects through research, debate and interaction with audiences and communities.

Entry requirements:

A relevant first degree or equivalent professional experience and a strong motivation to develop a career in the arts.

All applicants are interviewed and should bring a portfolio demonstrating strong image-making skills an artist’s statement placing the portfolio in context a statement of intention outlining your aims in undertaking the course.
