Course Overview

We are looking for individuals who are aiming high and who are passionate about this industry and the way in which it plays a part in the lives of millions who identify with stadia and events.

Stadia represents major capital investment for most professional sports organisations and the increased utilisation of stadia is a major financial opportunity. Stadia are now seen as not just sports venues but as a venue for many activities outside of the sporting arena. This is your chance to develop your skills and expertise in this exciting arena.

Most stadia are mainly used for circa 35 days per year for their core sporting activity. The challenge for your generation is to maximise stadium utilisation for the remaining 330 days a year. Wembley Stadium for example has hosted almost 200 events since 2007 through combining domestic and international matches with concerts featuring stars such as Robbie Williams and Bruce Springsteen, as well as hosting motorsports, NFL and rugby events. In this way an organisation’s assets are maximised to ensure sufficient financial returns to repay the capital outlays.
