Life Long Learning at Bucks
Bucks offers a
range of opportunities for lifelong learning and personal
development that can enhance your professional career, but also
provide personal enrichment.
Separate modules in Combined Studies are an
excellent way of furthering your creative or academic skills,
without committing yourself to a full or part time degree
course. Why not gain degree-level credits alongside others who
share similar interests? No prior qualifications are required
and you can take one module at a time or several simultaneously.
You can mix and match exactly as you want.
If you want to develop your IT skills, we
offer a wide range of short courses to suit your experience or
level of confidence. Most last for 10 weeks and are offered
several times a year. Learn about software applications such as
word processing, digital imaging and computer animation or focus on
the programming, computer-aided machining and tool making skills
that are so useful in business and technical
environments.
You’ll find that Bucks
is also an excellent venue for introductory classes in craft skills
such as silversmithing, wood machining, drawing and
upholstery. As with many of our short courses, there are easy
progression routes on to degree programmes if you want to take your
studies further.
