What will this course cover?

In view of the exciting and innovative developments taking place within technology-enhanced Learning (t-eL), opportunities for professional development in all aspects of teaching and learning have become paramount for lecturers, teachers and commercial trainers.

Within the University we have been successfully using t-eL approaches across all of our undergraduate programmes for more than a decade and have developed specialist knowledge in the use and development of t-eL within all types of courses.

The term technology-enhanced Learning is now being widely used to encompass those areas of educational study that would have previously been described as blended-Learning and e-Learning.

The MSc has been developed from previous postgraduate courses in blended-Learning and e-Learning and represents the need for a new type of programme that incorporates both areas in a unifying package.

The MSc in technology-enhanced Learning encompasses the embedded use of learning technologies within face-to-face student/teacher environments, as well as distance learning, part-time and work-based education.

The MSc technology-enhanced Learning focuses on how we can develop good pedagogical practice to enhance the design and delivery methods for teaching and learning face-to-face, online or work-based using a range of technology augmented methodologies.
