What to Expect at an Open Day

Nursing Open Days at our Uxbridge Campus are a great opportunity to meet current students, course leaders and tutors; and discuss courses and placements in more depth.

You’ll get a real sense of what it’s like to study here, and the wide range of things on offer. You’ll also get to tour our excellent facilities and experience our state-of-the-art simulation suites.

What will I find out at a Bucks Nursing Open Day?

You’ll get an in-depth insight into life on campus, and get to look around the impressive facilities that will support you in your studies. Our Uxbridge Campus is one of the leading nursing schools in London, with some of the most advanced teaching equipment available.

We’ll also offer guidance on the application process, specific clinical placements, and how to finance your studies. And there’ll be guided tours with course tutors and current students, where you’ll have the chance to ask any questions about our nursing courses, and the wider Bucks University experience.

Sounds great! When is the next Open Day?

To ensure we get to talk to every potential nursing student, and answer your specific questions, we run several Open Days each year at Uxbridge. For dates and to reserve your place and our next event, visit our Open Day Booking page.

We look forward to giving you a warm welcome and showing you around.

How can I prepare?

  • If you haven’t already, it’s worth having a read of our prospectus. You can order a copy here.
  • You can use the 2017 Bucks University Nursing Open Day planner to help you plan your visit to our Uxbridge Campus. It has lots of useful information, including details of how to get here, and the talks and presentations on offer throughout the day.
  • There’s our handy page on planning your visit, too.
  • For a comprehensive overview of life and study here, have a browse through our Student life section – you’ll find lots of information on what’s going on locally and on campus.

We look forward to meeting you, and discussing your future with us.
