Plan your Visit

Bucks Postgraduate and Professional Open Evenings are a great way to find out about our postgraduate and professional programmes.

To ensure you get the most from the event, here are a few tips to help you plan your visit:

Plenty of people attend Open Days on their own, but bringing someone else along for support is a great idea. It can be helpful to have a second opinion.

If you’ve booked but can no longer make it, please let us know by phone on 0330 123 2023 or email us. We’ll be able to book you on to our next event if you’re still interested.

If you’ve booked a tour and can no longer make it, please cancel so we can re-allocate your spot.

The most important thing is that you attend your appointment with a member of the course team, you are welcome to leave afterwards if you need to.

Yes, Bucks is a friendly and inclusive environment. If you require assistance, please contact us beforehand so we can enable your visit to run as smoothly as possible.

We will have tea and coffee available for all of our guests.

Our Postgraduate and Professional Open Evenings are held at our High Wycombe Campus.

If you are travelling by train or bus, both stations are located near our campus and the Wycombe Park and Ride scheme has a bus stop directly outside our main building. Student Ambassadors will be nearby, waiting to direct you.

If you’re driving, there will be parking available on campus which you can access via the entrance opposite Wycombe Hospital. You may find our visit us section helpful.

Please make your way to our main reception in the Gateway Building (a large blue building). Our Student Ambassadors will then bring you over to our registration area to check in for the event.

At our Postgraduate and Professional Open Evenings, you will have been given an appointment time with a member of the academic course team. We recommend you arrive promptly for this to avoid missing your slot.

Our admissions team will be available to discuss applications and offer funding advice. We will also be running a campus tour so you can get a feel for the place.

Want to know how we use your personal data? Please see bucks.ac.uk/data. Please note that filmmakers and photographers may be on site and operational on the day.

Our Open Day will provide you with the chance to speak with academic staff, current students, and staff from student services.

We suggest you have a good think about what you may want to ask, for example, what do you need to know about studying here, the application process or how student finance works?

If you want to ask us something before you arrive please call 0330 123 20 23 or email advice@bucks.ac.uk.
