A degree is a great starting point for a career. But it’s the additional skills, qualities and experience that will increase a student’s chances of getting a good job when they graduate.

At Bucks we are committed to helping your son or daughter get as ready as possible for going out into work while they’re at university with us.

Our courses are all developed with strong industry input; and we offer lots of experience-enhancing opportunities on top of our teaching – from placements with leading employers, to volunteering opportunities, to skills practice in our industry-standard simulation facilities.

Our unique Big Deal package  means students also get access to a huge amount outside of their course as well – from skills workshops, to societies and sports – all great for enhancing their CV, as well as being lots of fun. And all available for them to tap into at no extra cost.

Our careers and employability service

When it comes to taking the next step beyond uni, our careers and employability service can provide a wealth of resources around job searches, applications, building portfolios, and more.

Students have access to extensive careers advice during their whole time at Bucks, including CV and covering letter builders, videos, and reports from industry professionals, as well as interactive tools to make them more employable.

And the support doesn’t stop when they finish. Our careers and employability service is available for two years after graduation to support them as they progress in their career.
